Accounting Supervisor: Regional Financial Controller

What You'll Do

• Financial accounting Monthly, Quarterly and Year end close and financial reporting Balance sheet reconciliations Cash management and cash flow forecasting Fixed asset accounting for the entities US GAAP lease accounting for the entities Statutory compliance and reporting Coordination with third-party advisors on inquiries from tax authorities and tax audits Coordination of monthly payroll with third-party payroll provider Partner with global teams, including those overseeing accounts payable, treasury purchasing, and facilities to support local operations in Brasil Ensure financial processes are in accordance with and adhere to corporate policies Ad hoc projects as applicable Requirements: Complete Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Minimum of three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese and demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and verbal Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes, including accounting solutions and related applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Nice to have: Professional certification preferred SAP experience Experience with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Strong sense of responsibility for completion of deliverables to meet own objectives Ability to work within a matrix business structure with internal customers in multicultural environment with multiple locations and time zones Additional Job Details: Employment category: CLT Employment term: 40 hours/week.
