About This Role

• Job Description Broadcom’s Mainframe Software Division (MSD #BroadcomSoftware) is looking for an excellent software engineer with a passion for building high quality applications using agile practices to join our development team working on the solutions in the area of Event Management and Automation.

• The products in the solution area include backend assembler language components running on the mainframe, with Java and C applications that interact with the backend and provide information to feed frontend components with Open Telemetry events.
• Applied experience with CI/CD practices and tools for orchestration, deployment, and testing is a plus.
• This full-stack development position is responsible for creating, testing, ensuring the quality of and maintaining a product or product line.
• The R&D Software Engineer 4 will perform complex code modification, testing, and debugging tasks, as well as provide high level analysis related to software design and development.
• The person in this role is expected to act as a technical lead within a small team, advising, mentoring and coaching more junior developers and partnering with stakeholders such as Product Owners, Solution Architects etc. #BroadcomSoftware #BroadcomSW Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively within an Agile Team to write high quality, testable code that meets the Definition of Done.

• Additional Job Description: Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $ 108,000 - $172,800 This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
