Mainframe Licensing Consultant

About This Role

• Responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex technology solutions and integrating architecture.
• Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems.
• Provides direction for design activities.
• Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites.
• Also responsible for high-level relationship management and acts as client liaison during delivery of an outsourced solution, whether it is an IT or business process outsourced solution.
• Strategically focused and responsible for client satisfaction, maintaining client communication, and the overall management of the client relationship.
• Works to grow the client relationship by identifying new business opportunities.
• Works with delivery team to execute on contract terms and conditions and to ensure on-time delivery of projects that support the client’s business. - Knowledge: A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
• This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position. • Experience and fully qualified in own function plus working knowledge of others • Applies in-depth job knowledge to a wide range of multiple or complex tasks • Knowledge of company policies and practices - Job Complexity / Contribution : Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. • May assist more junior staff members with aspects of their job • May coordinate work with third parties, vendors, or trade customers • Plan activities with other team members - Supervision : Work is independent and collaborative in nature.
