About This Role
- WLAN Field Applications Engineer (FAE) - Philadelphia PA (US) area, Field Applications Engineer 3 Job Description: Broadcom, a recognized leader in Broadband, WiFi, and Video technologies, is seeking a highly skilled WLAN Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our team and contribute to the advancement of our sales strategies with key Service Provider customers.
- This is a pivotal role in expanding Broadcom’s business by providing world-class technical support and promoting our products throughout the product lifecycle.
- The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in WiFi technologies, with a strong blend of software and hardware proficiency, and a preference for experience in WiFi embedded software development.
- This individual will engage with diverse customer teams, including Engineering and Management, as well as Broadcom R&D and business teams, to ensure that customer needs are met while fostering long-term partnerships.
- Profile & Experience: BSEE or equivalent technical degree Minimum 12+ years relevant experience Deep understanding of WiFi technologies and relevant industry standards.
- Strong hands-on experience with both software and hardware aspects of WLAN systems, with an emphasis on embedded software development (preferred).
- Experience using Linux SW, debug modules (console) and use of WiFi diagnostic tools (iPerf, Wireshark etc…) Experience with WiFi-related lab test equipment Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to drive product solutions in close collaboration with engineering, development, and business teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, customer-oriented approach to technical support.
About This Role
- Compensation and Benefits The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position is $126,000 - $202,500 OTE includes Sales Incentive Commission in accordance with relevant plan documents.
- This position is also eligible for equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
