- Scoping Manager Job Description Summary Responsible for leading a scoping team in CXS Japan.
- Responsible for selling the company's services through Account Directors’ team to end-user customers in assigned geographic, territory, industry or accounts.
- Supports ADs to develop new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry or product segment.
- Manages the scoping team who represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.

- This position is responsible for driving sales of VMware Cloud Foundation solutions into a defined set of existing large enterprise customers.
- We’re looking for experienced sales managers with impact in a high-growth environment.
What You'll Do
- Scope, negotiate, and close contracts to exceed all targets.
- Establish access and create positive business relationships with key executives and senior-level decision makers including the CISO, Head of CDO, CIO, CTO, LOB Head, etc.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders to drive product adoption in target accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account and territory plans.
- Regular forecasting of business opportunities to Sales and executive leadership.
- Responsible for staying well-informed about product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features, and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems.
- This includes interacting with Product Management on an ongoing basis to stay updated.
