CAD Engineer

What You'll Do

• This individual will be hands-on, heavily involved in day-to-day support of design/layout issues and develop, maintain, and support utilities to improve productivity. - Hands-on, daily support for design/layout issues. - Interact with EDA vendors, PDK development, and process technology teams to provide timely solutions. - Develop, maintain, and support utilities to improve productivity. - Create documentation and provide hands-on training for design engineers as needed.
• Prior experience in several of the following areas is required: - SKILL programming language to customize layout environments and develop productivity utilities. - Creation and maintenance of CAD PDK environments (tool installations, layout environment customization, etc.). - Exposure to EDA tools and flows for advanced chip design. - Exposure to Physical Verification flows (DRC, LVS). - Exposure to circuit simulation and tools. - Experience with QA flows, creation of QA test cases, and development of QA infrastructure. - Experience with AI tools for code generation.
