Staff SW Systems Design Engineer

What You'll Do

• Create high-fidelity virtual platforms that enable internal early SW development and demonstrate ADI capabilities and enable ADI customers in defining and developing their products using models for ADI SoCs.
• Develop AI skills, tools and environments that ease building and adoption of virtual prototypes for both internal teams and ADI customers Troubleshoot complex system-level issues, serving as the escalation point for pre-silicon customer feedback.
• Collaborate closely with ADI customers and internal product teams to create right virtual platforms.
• Required Qualifications Experience: 7+ years of industry experience in SoC design, architecture, or system-level modeling.
• Modeling Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in SystemC, TLM 2.0, C/C++ or equivalent high-level modeling, and virtual platforms Software Proficiency: Expert-level C++ programming skills, with experience in Python and scripting for modeling automation.
• Architecture Knowledge: Deep understanding of SoC architecture, including CPU subsystems (ARM/RISC-V), bus protocols (AMBA AXI/CHI), and memory hierarchies.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to drive technical decisions across cross-functional teams (Architecture, HW, SW, Product Marketing teams).
• For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
• Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.
• Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
