What You'll Do

  • Act as the technical lead for power solutions with strategic and key customers in the Bay Area.
  • Architect complete power systems , from AC/DC front end through DC/DC conversion and point-of-load regulation.
  • Identify and drive new product opportunities in collaboration with Product Line teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Product Line Management, Power Marketing, and Applications Engineering to ensure alignment on customer needs.
  • Partner with customers to optimize designs for efficiency, thermal performance, reliability, and cost .
  • Deliver technical seminars, workshops, and hands-on demos of ADI’s power design and simulation tools.
  • Mentor junior FAEs and help elevate the technical capabilities of the regional applications team.
  • Qualifications BSEE (required); MSEE preferred. 6+ years of experience in power circuit design at the board and system level, with strong understanding of power conversion topologies.
  • Expertise in one or more of the following: high-efficiency DC/DC conversion, multiphase regulators, battery management, power modules, or high-voltage conversion .
  • Familiarity with complementary technologies such as Signal Conditioning and Data Converters .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with both technical and executive audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead technical discussions, influence product strategy, and mentor team members .
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills , with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent hands-on lab skills for troubleshooting and design validation.
  • For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
  • Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.
  • Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.

  • Job Req Type: Experienced Required Travel: Yes, 25% of the time Shift Type: 1st Shift/Days The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $163,530 to $224,854.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location , experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
