Staff Engineer, Failure Analysis Engineering

Requirements

• Engineering, Physics, or Science degree with semiconductor emphasis.
• BS + 7yrs or MS + 5Yrs of experience.
• Experience in Failure Analysis, Product, Design, Application, Fab Process or Test Engineering.
• Strong understating of Analog and mixed signal circuit analysis.
• Strong understanding of diode and transistor device physics.
• Ability to read schematics and layout.
• Knowledge of Failure Analysis Tools and Techniques: Optical microscopy, X-ray, EMMI, OBIRCH, ELITE and Microprobing.
• Experience with using electrical bench equipment: Curve tracer, Voltage Sources, Current loads, oscilloscopes, source meter, function generator etc.
• Good Understanding of FIB operation, parallel lapping, chemical deprocessing, and other physical failure analysis activities.
• Good English oral and written communication skills Good troubleshooting skills Fab and/or assembly process experience a plus Chemistry lab experience is a plus For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.

• Job Req Type: Experienced Required Travel: No Shift Type: 1st Shift/Days The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $130,168 to $188,490.
• Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location , experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
• This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
