Sr. Software Developer in Embedded Test

What You'll Do

• Analyze and verify software requirements and define test coverage.
• Create and execute test strategies and test plans .
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks.
• Design and execute tests to validate firmware, libraries, and Simulink models .
• Implement test applications in C and automation frameworks in Python.
• Validate embedded software using UART, SPI, Ethernet, and CAN interfaces.
• Support MIL / SIL testing environments.
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams and deliver high‑quality test artifacts.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools to improve test efficiency and automation.
• Required Skills Strong hands‑on experience in C and Python Good knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink Solid understanding of embedded systems and edge software Experience with Automotive SPICE‑based testing Hands‑on experience with UART, SPI, Ethernet, CAN Strong background in test planning, automation, and execution Good to Have Experience in Battery Management Systems (BMS) or battery algorithms Automotive or Energy Storage domain experience Exposure to MIL/SIL testing and CI/CD Education and Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems , or a related field. 3-6 years of experience in embedded software or algorithm testing For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
• Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.
• Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
