What You'll Do
- Define, prototype and implement multi-GHz digital communication and instrumentation systems.
- Lead the definition of and direct the joint implementation of the HW/SW ecosystem encompassing the new product families and customer systems.
- Performs detailed system analysis, including power and cost optimization, dynamic reconfiguration and calibration.
- Engage with key customers and standards groups to identify market requirements and trends.
Qualifications
- BSEE required, MSEE preferred. 20+ years of experience in system applications engineering system design/architecture engineering, and design engineering of high-performance RF and mixed-signal IC products and systems.
- Expertise in SERDES, RF CMOS, PLL, or data converter design.
- Experience with FinFET or fine-line planar analog CMOS process technologies and tradeoffs.
- Proficiency in software-defined CMOS communications or radar system design.
- Knowledge of digitally-assisted high-speed analog design.
- Excellent presentation and writing/communication skills.
- Preferred Skills: Leadership experience in broadband communications subsystem projects.
- Strong understanding of multi-GHz digital communications.
- Proven track record in defining and architecting high-performance communications products incorporating RF ADCs, DACs, PLLs and SERDES.
- Experience in specifying data converters for wideband digital communication systems.
- Ability to manage multi-channel synchronization and crosstalk effectively. #LI-CC1 For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.

- Job Req Type: Experienced Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time Shift Type: 1st Shift/Days The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $184,030 to $266,485.

- This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
