What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications supporting connected medical devices, Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), and digital health solutions.
  • Build responsive, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies.
  • Develop reusable UI components, frontend libraries, and shared design patterns that support scalable application development.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control capabilities supporting healthcare and enterprise application requirements.
  • Develop intuitive user experiences for clinical workflows, remote monitoring, reporting, device management, and administration portals.
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and platform services to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to translate business and user requirements into production-ready software solutions.
  • Ensure application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and frontend quality processes.
  • Participate in software verification and validation activities in accordance with regulated medical device development practices and applicable industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve production web applications to enhance usability, performance, and reliability.
  • Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 6+ years of experience in frontend software development or web application development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience developing and supporting responsive, production-grade web applications across desktop and tablet environments.
  • Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and cloud-hosted backend services.
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-based design, application state management, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks and tooling such as Next.js, Vite, TanStack Query, Zustand, Redux, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with frontend testing frameworks and automated testing practices.
  • Understanding of secure application development practices and healthcare data protection requirements.
  • Experience supporting software development for healthcare products, connected medical devices, or digital health solutions within established quality and compliance processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Additional Desired Skills and Qualifications Experience supporting FDA-regulated products and familiarity with IEC 62304 and related healthcare software development practices.
  • Experience building products from concept through commercialization, including early-stage (0-to-1) product development.
  • Experience supporting cloud platforms that enable AI-powered or AI-assisted healthcare solutions.
  • Experience designing data visualizations, dashboards, monitoring interfaces, and clinician-facing applications.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design best practices.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, user-facing web applications with a strong focus on usability, performance, and maintainability. #LI-CO1 For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
