What You'll Do
- of the Design Eval Engineer, carried out with the support of a mechanical engineer and magnetics experts within the group.
- Required Skills / Experience BS or MS degree in EE or ECE.
- Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years related and progressive experience with semiconductor bench measurements.
- The ideal candidate would have extensive experience with the evaluation of precision mixed signal integrated circuits, data acquisition and analysis.
- Hands on experience with NI bench top measurement equipment would be essential.
- Knowledge of software languages including C/C# and Python and proficiency in LabView.
- Knowledge of mixed signal PCB design and layout, preferably using Cadence tools.
- An aptitude for mechanics/mechanical design is preferrable though formal qualification is not required.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of magnetics and magnetic sensing technologies (xMR & Hall), though not essential, would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems through design of appropriate experiments and analysis of complex data.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills are essential coupled with demonstrated ability to work at a high level of performance both independently and as part of a multi-discipline development team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work to aggressive schedules.
- For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
- Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.
- Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
