What You'll Do
- Design of hardware & software solutions for product evaluation and reference designs.
- Testing specs and evaluating performance of new ICs.
- Development of customer facing collateral including datasheets, application notes and technical articles.
- Support customers through system integration, troubleshooting and testing through email, calls and on-site visits.
- Review customer schematics and layouts.
- Engage with customers to translate their system requirements into next generation product definitions.
- Conduct product/application technical training for field personnel and customers.
- Continuously monitor competitive landscape and work with marketing to correctly position solutions.
- Contribute to system level validation and test plans.
- Evaluate and analyze product-level performance.
- Providing feedback to software and hardware teams on system design opportunities and input to next generation product definition.
- Qualifications and Prerequisites: The candidate should have a good hardware technical background, be self-motivated, capable of accepting responsibility and show initiative in identifying and solving challenging technical problems.
- Global travel will be required.
- BS/BE Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent Ability to work simultaneously on many projects and set priorities Good planning, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills are an essential requirement Strong knowledge of digital, analog and mixed-signal fundamentals Programming experience in C, Python and knowledge of data structures and software abstraction concepts highly desired Printed circuit board design experience and exposure to PCB design tools is a plus Must be comfortable working with bench-level test and measurement equipment, including digital interface debug Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must Additional skills, knowledge and abilities: Able to form creative and collaborative partnerships with customers Strong teamwork and inter-personal skills Experience with ARM Cortex-M embedded systems, firmware development highly desired Experience with Atlassian platforms and remote repositories such as GitHub and SVN beneficial For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
- Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.
- Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
