What You'll Do
- The successful candidate will: Support the design, build, and improvement of test rigs, fixtures, and experimental setups for fluidic and mechanical system verification.
- Support the definition and execution of verification and validation activities across multiple stages of product development.
- Perform characterisation testing on components and subsystems, analyse results, and communicate findings clearly to the wider team.
- Collaborate with architects, design engineers, test teams, reliability teams, manufacturing teams, and applications teams to support product development.
- Investigate issues, identify root causes, and contribute to practical engineering solutions.
- Support interactions with external partners and internal stakeholders where needed.
- Research and stay current on relevant developments in mechanical, fluidic, and test technologies.
- Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience developing, building, or using test rigs, fixtures, instrumentation, or laboratory setups.
- Strong grounding in mechanical engineering principles, with interest in fluidic or sensor-based systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional engineering team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation of technical findings.
- A practical and curious approach to solving multidisciplinary engineering challenges.
- Advantageous Skills Experience with fluidic systems or laboratory instrumentation.
- Experience in medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences, or regulated product development.
- Experience with electrochemical, optical, or other sensor-based products.
- Experience with analytical or numerical modelling.
- Experience with mechanical design software or CAD tools. #LI-CC1 For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
