Fluidics Development Engineer

What You'll Do

• The successful candidate will: Support the design, build, and improvement of test rigs, fixtures, and experimental setups for fluidic and mechanical system verification.
• Support the definition and execution of verification and validation activities across multiple stages of product development.
• Perform characterisation testing on components and subsystems, analyse results, and communicate findings clearly to the wider team.
• Collaborate with architects, design engineers, test teams, reliability teams, manufacturing teams, and applications teams to support product development.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and contribute to practical engineering solutions.
• Support interactions with external partners and internal stakeholders where needed.
• Research and stay current on relevant developments in mechanical, fluidic, and test technologies.
• Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience developing, building, or using test rigs, fixtures, instrumentation, or laboratory setups.
• Strong grounding in mechanical engineering principles, with interest in fluidic or sensor-based systems.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional engineering team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation of technical findings.
• A practical and curious approach to solving multidisciplinary engineering challenges.
• Advantageous Skills Experience with fluidic systems or laboratory instrumentation.
• Experience in medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences, or regulated product development.
• Experience with electrochemical, optical, or other sensor-based products.
• Experience with analytical or numerical modelling.
