Field Application Engineer (Datacenter Power)

What You'll Do

• Drive design-in and design-win activities for ADI power management solutions across data center, hyperscale, AI/ML server, and high-performance computing applications.
• Provide technical support throughout the customer development cycle, including component selection, design review, circuit debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for power systems.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions to customers on data center power architecture and ADI solutions.
• Develop deep understanding of data center power architectures, including rack PDUs ,48V bus conversion, core power supplies and voltage regulator modules (VRM).
• Work closely with Sales, Product Lines, and engineering teams to identify opportunities and accelerate customer success.
• Gather customer feedback and market insights for new product definition.
• Continuously expand technical expertise and share knowledge across the FAE organization.
• Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• Strong background in power electronics and power management technologies, including DC-DC converters, digital power controllers, power monitors, hot-swap controllers, and multi-phase VRMs.
• Experience in data center power systems, server power supply design, rack-level power distribution, GPU/CPU power delivery, or high-current power conversion applications.
• Familiarity with data center power architectures (48V rack infrastructure, point-of-load conversion), AI/ML server power requirements, or battery backup/UPS systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
• Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
• Willingness to travel within China.
• For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
• Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.
• Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
