Field Application Engineer (Automotive Audio)

What You'll Do

• Provide field applications support to Strategic and Key Automotive customers, Focus on Car infotainment Head-Unit application and Audio AMP application based on Analog Devices Audio, Video, Power management, DSP and processor products; Understanding and disseminating Customers' system needs; Support key customers’ projects with system knowledge, drive technology discussions and design ins for specific product areas with a focus on maximizing share, forming deep customer relationships and driving exemplary customer satisfaction.
• Direct interface to the customer, providing technical guidance and support such as product recommendations, schematic review, PCB layout and validation reports, on-site trouble shooting.
• Debug customers’ board level and product level issue with customers and internal supporting engineering.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions to customers.
• Work closely with Sales, BU, and engineering teams to identify opportunities and accelerate customer success.
• Gather customer feedback and market insights for new product definition with BU.
• Qualifications and Requirements: MSEE in Engineering is required; Less than 2 years’ experience in Automotive Infotainment or Audio AMP industry.
• Automotive system level knowledge, Auto infotainment related background is preferred.
• Besides that, Automotive system electrification experience is plus.
• Solid knowledge in convertor (ADC/DAC), Audio, Video, Power management, DSP and processor products, Familiar with mixed signal circuit applications/design at the board/system level; Excellent hands-on experience in HW and SW design capability.
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills Previous experience providing customer-facing technical support; Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task projects and set priorities Strong written/verbal communication skills and the ability to build/drive relationships are required, work as a team player.
• Fluency in spoken and written English, Strong presentation skill in both English and Chinese Willingness to travel within China.
• For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
• Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.
• Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
