Embedded Software Co-Op

Requirements

• Co-op students in Electrical or Computer Engineering or in Computer Science (or related).
• Familiarity with standard C++ compilers and Integrated Development Environments Experience of developing firmware and/or software for embedded products Good understanding of Operating Systems Real Time Operating Systems concepts and the use of Linux as embedded operating system.
• Proficient in C and/or C++ programming with best engineering and software development practices.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and proactive, can-do attitude.
• Preferred qualifications Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and other standard lab equipment a plus.
• Experience with using Linux as a development environment.
• The candidate should be familiar with industry standard tools such as Git, vi, gdb, etc...
• Familiar with basic protocols such as IP, TCP/UDP, Ethernet, SWD, I2C, UART, etc.
• For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
• Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.
• Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
