What You'll Do

  • Strategic Program Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of a diverse program portfolio, aligning major projects with ADI’s strategy.
  • Oversee flagship SDP initiatives (Edge AI, Enterprise AI, embedded systems, Cloud/Mobile tools) with a focus on on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Team Management & Development: Manage and mentor a team of senior Program Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Set clear goals, provide coaching and career development, and drive talent planning to build future leadership bench strength.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with VBU engineering & business leaders, Enterprise PMO, and other stakeholders to ensure cross-organizational alignment.
  • Facilitate transparent communication, resource coordination, and stakeholder engagement throughout program lifecycles.
  • Execution & Governance: Implement and refine program management best practices and governance frameworks.
  • Proactively manage scope, schedule, risks, and interdependencies across projects to achieve predictable execution and accountability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion operational improvements and transformation initiatives that enhance program delivery efficiency, tools, and processes.
  • Lead change that improves ADI’s program management maturity and enterprise execution capabilities.
  • Required Skills & Capabilities: Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional people leadership, coaching, and team-building skills in a matrixed environment.
  • Program Management Expertise: Deep knowledge of program/project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, waterfall) with a track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary technology programs.
  • Strong portfolio oversight, risk management, and prioritization skills.
  • Strategic & Technical Acumen: Strategic thinker with understanding of software, AI/ML, and embedded technologies.
  • Able to connect program execution to broader business strategy and technical context for optimal decision-making.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex program status, issues, and decision needs clearly to executive audiences.
  • Adaptability & Continuous Improvement: Change agent mindset with experience driving process improvements or organizational transformation in program management practices.
  • Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • Significant experience (e.g., 12+ years) leading large-scale programs/projects in a technology environment, including 5+ years managing teams or people leaders.
  • Demonstrated success delivering high-impact programs across software, systems, or semiconductor domains, ideally involving cross-business collaboration.
  • Professional certification in Project/Program Management (PMP, PgMP, Agile) Proven program management skills in complex embedded systems projects, delivering on-time on-budget, on-quality products and systems.
  • Collaboration is key, and a successful candidate will listen and engage the broader organization to enhance program management principles and practices within the Software and Digital Platforms Group as well as the broader ADI organization.
  • Location & Travel: Primary Location: Wilmington, MA, USA Travel: ~10% travel for team engagement and business collaboration across ADI sites.

  • Job Req Type: Experienced Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time Shift Type: 1st Shift/Days The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $184,800 to $267,600.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location , experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
