• , but not limited to: As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping next-generation audio experiences.
• Your responsibilities include: Go to guy and a t hough leader on Bl uetooth Defining Bluetooth Software features and working with internal teams, third parties and customer on how we deliver these Bluetooth features in a timely manor Working with global, multi-disciplinary teams across hardware, software, and business domains, influencing stakeholders and ensuring alignment on project goals with respect to Bluetooth Mentor and develop talent, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment Shape technology and product roadmaps, aligning technology evolution with market needs and long-term business objectives with a special interest in wireless technologies that include Bluetooth, Wifi and UWB C ustomer engagement s throughout the product development cycle—from concept to launch—debugging issues and resolving problems in our application and /or FPGA labs .
• Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams (Marketing, Design, Software, Field Applications) and with external partners to deliver complete system solutions.
• Understanding the complex Bluetooth system boundaries per Customer on what ADI deliver and what the Customer delivers Deep u nderstand ing of market use cases to solve application-level challenges in hearable devices such as TWS earbuds and over-the-head headsets Translate customer needs into solutions, thinking expansively and using a wide lens to capture both immediate and future requirements Architect balanced system trade-offs between performance, power, complexity, and cost to meet demanding design goals Drive hardware/software integration to ensure seamless user experiences Support verification and validation efforts, including pre-silicon (FPGA systems) and post-silicon testing, to guarantee compliance with requirements Develop evaluation kits, system designs, and customer-facing collateral such as application notes and demos Create compelling demos for customer visits and tradeshow events Provide technical communication and support during customer engagements to ensure success Desired requirement s/Qualifications Education & Experience 10+ years in product development roles within the electronics industry 5+ years in Bluetooth .
• Preferred experience in both Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth LE Audio Bachelor’s , M aster’s or PhD degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Embedded Firmware/Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience) Experience with ARM/DSP/FPGA /BT platforms is a plus Technical Expertise (knowledge and experience ) System Engineering methodologies and HW/SW product development flows, including requirements capture (e.g., Jama), integration, verification, and validation Signal processing and multi-core development in the audio domain; experience with DSP cores (e.g., Cadence HiFi) and ARM cores is an advantage Bluetooth and wireless protocols, including Wi-Fi and UWB Knowledge of RF challenges with on body wireless technologies Mixed-signal audio chains, specifically Analog audio architecture (e.g., ADC, PGA, Class D amplifiers) and performance metrics (e.g., SNR, THD) Customer technical support at product and system level, including remote and face-to-face engagements Testing and debugging techniques, with proficiency in tools such as oscilloscopes, Bluetooth analysers/sniffers, audio analysers (Audio Precision), and wireless protocol analysers Delivery of system-level collateral for internal and external stakeholders, including hardware, software, and documentation Ability to lead multi-disciplinary, globally distributed teams and influence stakeholders across hardware, software, and business domains Strong understanding of architectures and system-level trade-offs to balance performance, power, complexity, PCB design and cost Demonstrated experience in mentoring and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment Skilled in creating technology and product roadmaps that align evolving technologies with market needs Additional Knowledge PCB development flow (schematic, layout, manufacturing) – beneficial but not required Knowledge of Antenna design within the hearable form factor Programming in C, C++, or Python, and familiarity with software development tools and flows (e.g., Git, JIRA, Jenkins) Exposure to machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Caffe, PyTorch ) – beneficial but not required Soft Skills & Attributes Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and strong team player Comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in a multifaceted, cross-functional team with a start-up culture Enthusiastic about consumer technology, especially in the audio market segment Ability to travel up to 10% globally (U.S., Europe, Asia) For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
