- We are seeking a driven and innovative Associate Process Engineer to play a key role in advancing our manufacturing operations.
- The ideal candidate will focus on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring high-quality output across all processes.
- In this role, you will leverage tools such as FMEA, SPC, and OCAPs to maintain operational excellence, while driving initiatives to simplify and automate workflows using modern digital tools—including AI, Power BI dashboards, and Power Automate—in a dynamic production environment.
What You'll Do
- Yield improvement and cost reduction: Drive vis-mech yield improvement programs and identify cost reduction opportunities through process optimization, material efficiency, and defect reduction (DPM improvement).
- Implementing quality control tools: Use tools like FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), and OCAPs (Out of Control Action Plans) to ensure quality and consistency in operations.
- Data analysis and digital reporting: Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data to identify areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI and other analytics platforms to enable real-time visibility into key process and yield metrics.
- Process automation and simplification: Simplify and automate processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Leverage Power Automate, AI-based tools, and scripting to streamline repetitive tasks, reporting workflows, and data collection.
- Developing and optimizing processes: Design, configure, and enhance industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
- Risk assessments: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Documentation: Provide detailed process documentation and operating instructions to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering – Industrial, Computer, Electronics, Mechanical, Materials, and related courses.
- New College Graduate, 0–6 months of work experience.
- High aptitude in data analytics; knowledge in MS Office applications, statistical analytical tools, and familiarity with digital platforms such as Power BI, Power Automate, or AI-driven productivity tools is a plus.
- For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S.
- Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S.
- Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
